Suzie the Yorkie Puppy
Susie the adorable Yorkie who was rescued from a situation of abuse. She was suffering from a constant vomiting problem and was tested blood tests, which came back normal.
Donna was the victim of an horrific Pitt Bull attack herself and, after a physical recovery, she adopted Susie. The two are working together to educate the public, and advocate for harsher punishments for animal abusers through their non-profit organization Susie's Hope.
She's a tiny Spitfire
Susie is a sweet little girl who wants nothing more than to be loved. She is timid, but she has a bossy streak and likes to get everyone to do what she tells them to do. She is a good friend to her foster brother Romeo and is beginning to get acquainted with her foster sister Tedd. She is getting more comfortable with her surroundings and even enjoys being outside.
It's a sad fact that a lot of dogs aren't treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. This is especially relevant to smaller breeds, such as Yorkies. These small dogs are easily overlooked by children as they run out of the door, or forget to shut a screen door. This can cause serious injury or death to these small creatures.

She's a sweetheart

She is starting to come out of her shell more and she likes to go outside with them to keep them company since they are blind. She will also play in her bedroom with her toys.

It was a routine Peterson family trip for haircuts until Charles encounters Princess who is charming and spoilt Yorkie puppy that belongs to one of the stylists. When the owner decides to relocate and she isn't able to take Princess along, Charles volunteers to care for Princess until a suitable home is located. He quickly realizes that Princess's lifestyle is difficult to adjust to.
The story began one year ago, just before Christmas. Dolores discovered Susie suffering from foaming and collapsing at the mouth after an extreme stomach upset. The blood was discovered in her vomit. Susie was diagnosed with an irritated gastrointestinal tract following several tests. Despite her best efforts, she spent Christmas in the emergency vet hospital.
Susan worked with her to ensure vomiting did not recur. She altered her diet to more bland food and prescribed medication for the inflammation, and showed her how to use a litter box.
While some dogs suffering from chronic stomach issues need to have their gall bladders surgically removed, Susie was fortunate to stay clear of this. Susie doesn't appear to have any underlying problems that require further treatment.

Her favorite food is chicken. She's a little sensitive about her treats, but does not mind if her mom gives her a piece of bacon every now and again. She is a sucker for chewing her toes and fingers. Thankfully, she's beginning to be aware that she's not permitted to do this.
Susie's mother was worried as she began vomiting heavily. Her vet was able to give her some medicine and things was back to normal. She's back to being a healthy and active girl.
